Skills

...
Coding

Over the years, I did numerous training online (on DataCamp to mention only one) to become a true data scientist. My language of choice is Python. I recently refined my worflows to be able to use my iPad for most of my data scientist tasks.

  • Python. NumPy, pandas, MatPlotLib, seaborn & SciPy.
  • Swift. Xcode, SwiftUI, iPhone and iPad app projects.
  • LaTeX. I wrote my thesis in LaTeX.
  • Web Developer. fully efficient in JS, HTML, CSS. Notions in PHP and MySQL.
  • Git. I use Git for every project/manuscript that I work on. This website is made using Jekyll, the awesome static site generator and hosted on GitHub Pages.
...
Wet Lab

As a post-doctoral fellow, I am at my bench every day. I master most common lab methods and learn cutting-edge techniques on a regular basis.

  • Biochemistry. Western blot, immunopurification (IP), IP-MS analyses, recombinant protein production and purification.
  • Cell Biology. Confocal microscopy (Leica SP8 and Zeiss 980 with Airyscan 2), spinning-disk confocal microscopy, image analysis (Fiji).
  • Molecular biology. Primer design, RT-qPCR, Gateway® cloning, Gibson Assembly®, Golden Gate Assembly®.
  • Plant Biology. CRISPR/Cas9, Arabidopsis thaliana transformation, Nicotiana benthamiana transfection, protoplast isolation.
...
Leadership / Teamwork

"Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could."

- Steve Jobs
  • SBP Leadership Program. Series of workshops where I discovered which kind f leader I was.
  • DiSC®. I am an iD.
  • Laboratory. I successfully trained numerous graduate and undergraduate students.
  • McDonald's. I learned how to be a team player when I joined McDonald's in parallel of my Bachelor studies in 2008. I got soon at a position where I trained and mentored numerous employees until 2011 when I stopped my collaboration with McDonald's.
